Morrie Comparison 1/26/09

I think the book, Tuesday's w/ Morrie, the ABC interview, and the movie are simlar because they all show how much Morrie loves life. In the book especially, we see how Morrie is a sweet, down to heart old man. He doen't dwell on the fact that he's dying and we see that in all the ways Morrie has been presented to us. He got to go on national television to tell his story, and not once did he complain about dying or try to have people feel sorry for him. Morrie's just not that type of guy, and reading the book, and watching both the interview and part of the movie has made me realize that. He always wants to know how his friends and family are doing before he'll ask for anything. There's not too many people out in the world like Morrie these days. I think reading this book was a really good idea and it's definetly the best book I've ever read! :)

  1. I'm genuinely glad you like the story and the book. The focus of this particular post was to discuss similarities between the three and mention if you thought there was anything that took away from the reading of the book by viewing the movie version as well as seeing the interview.
